Tender & Tangy Ribs

from Quick Cooking

1 1/2-2 cups vinegar
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp ground mustard
2 tsp paprika
1-1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 TBS vegetable oil
4 pounds pork spareribs

Combine the first nine ingredients in a slow cooker. Cut ribs into serving-size pieces; brown in a skillet in oil. Transfer to a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until tender (I have made these several times and always have to cook 6 plus hours till tender).
